Director of Programs
Not Sorry Productions is seeking someone with the right balance of big picture thinking and detail-oriented planning to oversee the development and execution of Not Sorry’s secular pilgrimages, classes, and other educational offerings. This person will lead a team of both in-house staff and contractors to ensure Not Sorry’s programs are aligned with our mission and values, are run smoothly and successfully, and turn a profit. This position is a senior level management position and a member of Not Sorry’s leadership team.
Not Sorry Productions is a feminist organization that produces podcasts, educational content, live shows, and immersive experiences with the explicit goal of addressing the spiritual needs of its participants. Through community, rigor, and ritual, we treat traditionally secular things as if they were sacred.
The Details
Title: Director of Programs
Position Type: Full time, remote (you must be able to work the bulk of your day on EST)
Benefits provided: Healthcare stipend, paid vacation and sick time, 401k with company match, discounts on Not Sorry programming, profit share, half day Fridays, 3-month sabbatical after 5 years.
Starting Salary: $80,000-90,000 per year, depending on experience
Reports to: COO
What You’ll Do
Develop and drive the vision and goals for all programs in conversation with the CEO and the executive team
Build and maintain the department budget, including the budget for each program
Develop and maintain clear systems for work and communication to empower your team(s) to execute your vision and plans
Curate and plan the annual calendars for
Pilgrimages
Virtual Offering
Lead new program development
Manage direct reports
Spearhead the promotion and sales for all programs by working through the Comms team
Develop and oversee fundraising for scholarships
Develop and maintain faculty and other partner relationships (act as ambassador, but not main point of contact)
Serve as a member of the leadership team for the company
Advise on podcast live events, as needed
Other duties as assigned

Proven experience in event planning and team leadership
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Familiarity with Not Sorry’s offerings is a plus
