Living Courageously
with Vanessa Zoltan

Registration for this program is now closed.
Course description
Join Vanessa Zoltan for four weeks of reflection on how to approach your daily life with more bravery in 2024. For the month of January, we will come together every Thursday night on Zoom and work as a group to identify a personal goal or mantra around which each participant can shape their efforts in the new year. Each week, we will consider courage through a particular theme: vulnerability, creativity, activism, and self-love. We will begin each class by reading a short text on that week’s topic and then do some self-reflection through a writing prompt. We will then go into small groups to discuss our thoughts.
If you know you need this kind of self-reflection, but struggle to hold time and space for it, this class is for you. This kind of internal work is often easier to perform and regard seriously when it’s undertaken with like-minded community. Through four weeks of supportive, collaborative work, Vanessa and your classmates will help you build intention and develop the rituals you need to carry you through the new year.

More Info
The holidays can leave many of us tired and burnt out — which is no way to start the new year. This program will be intentionally spacious, quiet and slow. It will serve as a container for people to reflect on feelings, intentions, and goals that are close to their hearts as they move into the new year.
Through close reading texts, personal reflection and group discussion, participants will dig into questions like: What do you want to do with your creative energy this year? What do you want from your relationships this year? How can you most joyfully expend your social energy this year? How do you want to care for yourself this year?
By processing these questions in community, we hope each participant leaves with satisfying answers and a confident sense of where they want the new year to take them.
